Ability to add NC Year below n-2

We are opening a nursey and already have a Kindergarten and we need to be able to allocate NC year below n-2 and allocate years to more than one intake and have it correctly pull through on roll-over without using the deceleration tool.

For international groups this is a Must, we have many schools with Nurseries with babies aged 0 or 1 years old, so we would actually need NC Year -3 and -4. As is, we have set the standard years for the group as starting from NC Year -2 then NC Year becomes misaligned for British Schools, which is quite anoying.

Agree this would be useful, but should also be paired with a way to reallocate and existing year group to -3 and -4.

We are also opening a 0-3 nursery in September and are disappointed about the current set-up. Why is it not possible to add -3 and -4, when the list goes to 50?

I would like iSAMS to explain why they have advised using 49 and 50 instead of -3 and -4. It defies logic, and causes practical problems with the rollover and in reporting. There is another Idea for this which was created in July 2020.

We also would like this.... with the VAT changes, independent schools are increasingly expanding their day care/nursery offers, and we need to add years all the way down to -3, -4, etc. Sure, we could add them in as some much higher number like 40 or something, but then they appear in ordered lists as if they were -older- than the Sixth Form year groups and that just feels wrong ...

Ability to add extra NC years (below N-2)

Merged
We have added an extra year group to the Nursery (effectively N-3). However, the function does not exist to give it the NC year N-3, meaning we have had to assign it the form year 15. This has had an effect on rollover and register etc..
