The user experience is very clunky and not efficient. It take numerous clicks to get to information. The modular nature means the ecosystem is not one but many. It is as if modules have been designed in complete isolation to one another and without the necessary pulling together of information, and without consideration of the end user. You cannot see SOS contact information in Pupil Profile, for example, which makes no sense. The search order in Pupil Manager and Pupil Profiles don't match: one starts with surname and the other forename - why?
I would like to see a dashboard for pupil data. One place with it all there for viewing. At the moment it is hugely frustrating that you have to go to different places to find information on the same child. This could be achieved in Quick view in Pupil Manager Wizard. Could this not include more tabs e.g. timetable, rewards and conduct, set lists. Is there a reason information cannot be shown in graphical form, rewards for example. Even better, why not have it all in one dashboard as some other new systems have managed.
I completely agree with this suggestion and think it’s an excellent idea.
The current user experience is fragmented and inefficient, requiring too many clicks and navigation across separate modules to find related information. A unified dashboard for pupil data would make a huge difference, bringing everything together in one place for quick access.
Adding features like timetable, rewards, conduct, and set lists in Quick View, and presenting data in graphical form, would greatly improve usability and save time. Other systems already offer this kind of functionality, and it would be fantastic to see iSAMS move in this direction.
I can see this also as a feature in Central, but if this page existed in iSAMS it would be game-changing.
