Currently, the system does not allow a single grade (e.g., Grade 9) to be mapped more than once across different year groups in ManageBac. This limitation is restrictive for schools like ours that run more than one program (e.g., MYP & Elites), where the same grade level needs to be associated with different year groups depending on the program.
Proposed Enhancement:
Enable the ability to select and map the same grade multiple times to different year groups within the ManageBac > iSAMS mapping function.
Benefits:
Supports schools running parallel programs (called divisions in iSAMS).
Provides greater flexibility to reflect real school structures.
Ensures accurate reporting and data consistency across programs.
Reduces the need for manual workarounds and potential mapping errors.
Allows us to send only the students who need to be in ManageBac, while excluding those in Primary who use another LMS (using the existing filter: only send students with grade assigned).
