For schools who use the 'send parent notification' function within the period view in the registration module it would be useful to be able to edit the template content.
At present, the email is quite generic and we'd like to be able to include a reminder about who to contact to provide a reason for an absence once they receive an alert.
Yes this affects all parent looking notifications, via email and via push notifications. In international schools it is common to send notifications to parents in several languages. Also it is relevant to be able to control what the school communicates to parents.
Parent notifications help comply with safeguarding procedures. Being able to edit the notification template to request the reason for the absence is essential.
This would be good if the period view in Registration Manager allowed editing notifications and selecting by Pupil and Division selection to send notifications
This needs to expedite for development, if we were to rely on iSAMS for effective communication and not use third party apps then editable templates can play a big role.
Reward & Conduct notifications and Attendance notifications are essential.
Some templates are editable in Control Panel, Email notifications but not all of them. Some schools need to send the notifications in English and the local language so parent can understand those notifications.
