It would be very useful to be able to copy the pattern of registration times from one year to the next. When the school timetable has not changed, it would seem straightforward to copy details from one year to the next. I am about to set up the year 2023-24, and was surprised to find that I need to start again in creating the registration times.

The Registration Wizard is not what I thought it would be, it keeps showing weeks as unallocated even though they are. I gave up and did it the old way as that was quicker

Please note, the beta test mentioned in the article is closed as this feature is being released in early May 2026, as part of the rollover for 2026/27.
I can't believe how long this idea has been outstanding. It also seems to be a very basic functional necessity so I don't understand why it has been omitted for so long.
Another term and another pointless administration task of having to setup all the registration periods. Lyndsey states that there is "progress in this area" nearly a year ago! Why do I still have to do this! Also the community post link doesn't exist anymore - Oops! The page was not found.
I don't understand why this module was written in this way in the first place - how many schools are changing their school day structure each term!?

Another comment to hopefully boost this! One of the most tiresome tasks at the end of year/start of new year. Can we at least have the option to set the whole year rather than term by term?

As a relative newbie to isams, I am surprised that this information has to be input manually, both termly and annually. I agree with the comments already made and would also ask that this be reviewed asap.
I would like to strongly recommend that the Development team prioritize implementing this feature as soon as possible. The request for this feature has been pending since July 28, 2023, and it continues to be a significant challenge. Each term, we face the burden of manually enterring the same registration dates and times over and over again. This process is not only time-consuming but also prone to errors.
Automating or streamlining this process with a copy dates & times to term feature, would greatly reduce the workload and eliminate the potential for mistakes, greatly improving the overall administrator experience.
This is super frustrating having to recreate them each term! Another admin task to do....
Yes please, way to many classes, divisions to keep changing could lead to mistakes.
Great idea, but not just one year to the next, but one term to another. This is way too overcomplicated when you have three divisions and thousands of classes.
We are able to copy the weeks - Days - periods in Timetable manager so it makes sense the registration manager reads this data to create registration times or at least allow us to copy the times to other terms/New year
